Embracing Opportunity: Saying Yes to the Journey and taking Jesus as my plus 1

Life often presents us with unexpected opportunities, sometimes in ways that may seem daunting or out of reach. It was one such moment when I found myself scrolling through social media, praying for change, and stumbled upon a post from my now mentor. The post hinted at a path where I could become a wellness influencer by starting on my own journey and coaching others to begin theirs. Despite feeling unqualified and doubtful, I recognized the power of saying yes and taking a leap of faith.

Fast forward a few years, and I've recently returned from my third all-inclusive trip abroad. This time, however, I approached it differently. In the past, I've taken companions with me, seeking comfort in company. Yet, this time, I decided to take Jesus as my plus one, trusting in His guidance and embracing the journey with a newfound faith-centered perspective.

Stepping Into the Unknown:

Just as Peter stepped out of the boat onto the water to follow Jesus (Matthew 14:29), I too embraced the discomfort of stepping into the unknown. Saying yes to the business opportunity was my way of trusting Jesus and leaning into His plan for me. Through this decision, I've grown into a woman who loves Jesus, gained confidence, and now invite others to step out on faith and start on their own transformative journeys.

Navigating Life's Path:

Reflecting on my recent trip to the Dominican Republic, I'm reminded of the importance of spending quality time with Jesus amidst life's busyness. Like Jesus withdrawing to solitary places for prayer (Luke 5:16), I sought guidance and clarity for the path ahead. Through Bible mapping and quiet reflection, I found peace and direction, adjusting my course as needed.

Community and Connection:

Surrounded by an amazing team and sweet friends, I experienced the joy of deep conversations, laughter, and shared experiences. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NLT) speaks to the strength found in community: "Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help." Building meaningful connections and supporting one another along the journey enriches our lives and empowers us to overcome challenges together. You're invited to join this amazing community!

Refilling Our Cup:

Just as Jesus withdrew for renewal (Mark 1:35), I prioritized self-care during my trip. Whether it was soaking up the sun, enjoying delicious food, or dancing the night away, I refilled my spirit, ready to face life's challenges with renewed energy. We work hard and play harder, returning with our cup filled. This gives us the ability to pour from abundance instead of scarcity.

Embracing the Journey Ahead:

Looking to the future, I'm filled with excitement for the possibilities that lie ahead. Saying yes to the wellness business opportunity has opened doors for personal and professional growth, allowing me to make a positive impact while pursuing my passions. Proverbs 16:3 (NLT) reminds us to commit our plans to the Lord: "Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed." By committing our plans to the Lord, we can confidently walk into the unknown, trusting in His faithful guidance.

In every journey, doubt and uncertainty may arise, but it's in those moments that our faith is tested and strengthened. By saying yes to opportunities and trusting in God's plan, we open ourselves up to a world of growth and transformation. So, let us step out in faith, trusting in the One who holds our future, and embrace the journey with courage and conviction.
